Lighthouse Original

This painting is an original acrylic painting with collaged book pages,sized at 12"x16". It is painted on 1/8" thick canvas board- easy for framing and shipping! 

We've all met people (or books!) in our lives who have given us a light in the storm and who have, through sharing their experiences and knowledge, have helped steer us away from disaster. Or maybe it isn't that dramatic! But, stories can have a profound effect on our direction when things are rough and stormy. 

This beautiful painting is an ode to my father, who I lost in 2019. He was a guiding light in my life, and I am grateful every time I look at this piece. It also reminds me to use my own stories to light up the dark.
